On Monday in Lauwe, near Menen, Luc Vandevyvere, 63, completed a 10,000-kilometre bike ride. Since 31 May, he cycled 100 kilometres a day for 100 days. Through the challenge, he raised money for research into Duchenne muscular dystrophy, an incurable disease that also affects his eight-year-old grandson Stan. Afterwards, he wants to order firewood first.
