The Kusttram runs from De Panne on the French border to Knokke on the Dutch one. 67 kilometres, 68 stops, and about 2 hours 21 minutes end to end. It covers essentially the whole Belgian coastline — every seaside town on one tram line. It started in 1885, as part of a vicinal tramway network that once reached across the entire country. It was the longest tram line in the world for decades. Los Angeles extended its A Line in September 2025 and took the title. Belgium keeps second place, and the better view.
