Ireland first country to officially pull out of Eurovision 2027

Ireland will not take part in the 2027 Eurovision Song Contest in Bulgaria. Irish public broadcaster RTÉ officially confirmed on Thursday that the country is withdrawing. Ireland is therefore the first country to definitively opt out of this edition. RTÉ will also not broadcast the contest next year, meaning Ireland’s involvement is ending completely.
