Keralam CM to launch ₹93.22-crore coastal protection project for Pozhiyoor

The Kerala Chief Minister is set to launch a ₹93.22-crore coastal protection project in Pozhiyoor. The scheme aims to shield the coastal settlement from incoming waves. Its planned defences combine groynes, a seawall and tetrapods, engineered concrete structures designed to reduce wave impact and protect the shoreline from erosion over time.
