Apocalyptic scenes in Neupré: towering flames and burning hay bales on road

A trailer loaded with hay bales caught fire Wednesday morning along the Chaussée de Marche in Neupré, Liège province. Firefighters spread the burning bales across the roadway to extinguish the fire completely. As a result, the road will remain closed to traffic until at least this afternoon. The flames, several meters high, were visible from the road.
