IKEA to open five smaller stores in Netherlands, no plans for Belgium

IKEA plans to open five smaller stores in the Netherlands next year, roughly the size of a supermarket. Customers will be able to buy tableware and lighting, among other things. The home furnishings chain is aiming for a complementary retail concept alongside its existing stores. For now, there are no plans to introduce a similar concept in Belgium in the near future.
