De Engelstalige Japanse pers is maar een fractie van de binnenlandse, en wat er wél vertaald wordt, helt over naar wat een internationaal publiek verondersteld wordt belangrijk te vinden. Lees je alleen dat, dan krijg je een versie van Japan die voor buitenstaanders is samengesteld.
