EU-Canada relationship still needs to be defined

Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney proposes establishing a “unique relationship” between Canada and the European Union. European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen offers him associate member status. The arrangement still needs to be defined, while the two partners must spell out the concrete substance of their closer ties.
