Building-sized comet hits Moon, NASA discovers crater

Scientists have discovered an exceptionally large impact crater on the Moon. They suspect it was caused by a comet roughly the size of a six-story building. NASA estimates that collisions of this kind occur no more than once a century on average. The discovery sheds new light on rare impacts in the solar system.
