Ministers campaigning for president must leave government

Sébastien Lecornu warned Thursday that ministers actively campaigning for a candidate in the 2027 presidential election will have to leave the government. The rule would therefore apply to government members supporting someone seeking the presidency. The minister has thus set a guideline for the next national campaign.
