Flemish government earmarks €800,000 to prevent first toilet death

Columnist Jan Segers says people wrongly made fun of Flemish MP Frédéric Erens’s near-fatal toilet visit. He calls going to the toilet a serious matter. The Flemish government is therefore allocating €800,000 for a healthier toilet policy. Segers, clearly ironically, offers himself as coordinator of the initiative.
