Gas leak during works in Zwevegem; 15 residents evacuated

A gas leak occurred during works on Deerlijkstraat in Zwevegem after a medium-pressure gas line was hit while the pavement was being broken up. Fifteen residents were temporarily evacuated. Emergency services and crews from grid operator Fluvius arrived to secure the area, address the leak and limit further risks.
