AZORG in Aalst is the first Belgian hospital to purchase a Histolog scanner for prostate cancer surgery. The device uses hundreds of small cameras to produce highly detailed images of tissue during the procedure. This allows surgeons to immediately assess whether more tissue needs to be removed, rather than waiting days or weeks for lab results.
