Court of Cassation upholds Achraf Hakimi’s referral to trial for rape

The Court of Cassation on Wednesday upheld Achraf Hakimi’s referral to a departmental criminal court over rape allegations. The footballer will therefore stand trial in France as part of these criminal proceedings. The confirmation was obtained from a judicial source after the case was reviewed by France’s highest judicial court.
