Local officials on disability pensions still hold political office

Seventeen local officials in Belgium, including two mayors and fifteen aldermen, receive disability pensions while serving in political roles. This was revealed by Het Laatste Nieuws, based on information from MP Eva Demesmaeker to Pension Minister Jan Jambon.
