Bruges man heads to Nepal to provide aid after deadly mudslide

Bruges resident Paul Vandemoortel leaves tomorrow for three and a half months to provide emergency aid in Nepal. Earlier this week, a glacial breach caused a massive mudslide that destroyed entire villages. Hundreds of people were killed, and more than 1,300 remain missing. Vandemoortel chairs the NGO Himalayan Projects, which has long supported Nepal.
