Brussels metro has recorded 4.7 billion journeys since opening

Brussels’ metro has recorded 4.7 billion journeys since it opened. STIB presented the programme of celebrations planned for the metro’s 50th anniversary. The figure covers all journeys made since the network began operating, while the anniversary will celebrate five decades of underground transport in Brussels.
