Tragedy in Paris: Child dies after house explosion, seven injured

A gas leak caused a house to explode in Aubervilliers, north of Paris, on Saturday evening, the mayor said. One child died and seven people were injured. Two of the injured are in critical condition, according to municipal authorities. Aubervilliers is a commune in Paris’s immediate northern suburbs.
