Four bus passengers try to strangle De Lijn inspector in Berchem

A De Lijn inspector was seriously injured Saturday evening in an attack on a bus at Berchem Station in Antwerp. Four men without valid tickets were arrested after forcing him to the ground and trying to strangle him. Colleagues were also confronted aggressively. Synova union representative Rudy Mous called it attempted murder and called for body cameras.
