Russia attacks near Polish border; Poland scrambles fighter jets

Russia carried out an attack near the border between Ukraine and Poland. Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha described the attacks as “barbaric” on X and said they were aimed not only at Ukraine, but also at the European Union and NATO. Poland subsequently scrambled fighter jets.
