Todd Boehly and Mark Walter sell their stakes to Clearlake Capital

US billionaires Todd Boehly and Mark Walter have sold their stakes in Chelsea to Clearlake Capital, already the English club’s majority shareholder. The private equity firm thus takes full control of the Blues, it was announced Wednesday. The group therefore becomes the sole entity controlling the London club.
