Man shot dead on busy terrace in Amsterdam

A man was shot on Amsterdam’s busy NDSM quay shortly after 3 p.m. on Friday afternoon. The victim, a prison employee, died on a restaurant terrace where many people were seated because of the fine weather. Police arrested a suspect shortly after the shooting. The investigation is continuing.
