Execution of US murderer Christa Pike, 50, delayed by one hour

The execution of Christa Pike, 50, in Tennessee was delayed by an appeals court one hour before the deadline. The court first wants to determine whether her account of sexual abuse during her childhood was sufficiently considered in the final verdict. She said she was at peace; she would be the first woman executed there in more than 200 years.
