Appeal court confirms: Telenet cannot freely use term ‘fiber’

The Antwerp Court of Appeal confirms that Telenet may not freely use the terms ‘fiber’ and ‘fiber-optic’ for internet connections that are not entirely fiber-optic. The Enterprise Court had already ruled this in February following a complaint by competitor Proximus. Telenet appealed the ruling but has lost its case.
