Antwerp seeks to rebuild ties between homeless youths and their parents

Antwerp wants to help homeless young people restore contact with their parents, family or other loved ones. The city is organising joint conversations, among other measures, to prevent conflicts from escalating and reduce the time young people spend on the streets. Alderman Nathalie van Baren (N-VA) says waiting lists for youth shelters continue to grow.
