Furious patient pulls out IV and dents emergency vehicle in Kortrijk

A patient being taken to hospital in Kortrijk on Monday night pulled out his IV en route and kicked a dent into an emergency vehicle. The emergency responders had to hide from the aggression. Karel Decaluwé, head nurse of the emergency department at AZ Groeninge, calls the violence unacceptable. He says the perpetrator will have to pay for the damage.
