81-year-old driver crashes into Carrefour entrance in Pittem; woman, 86, hurt

In Pittem, an 81-year-old driver crashed into the entrance of a Carrefour supermarket around 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The driver had become unwell, after which his car caused extensive damage to the store. An 86-year-old woman who was standing there with her bicycle was seriously injured. After the initial collision, the car caused further damage to the supermarket.
