Windows 11 update may crash games and apps using Dolby Digital audio

A bug in Windows 11’s built-in Dolby Digital decoder can cause games and apps to crash unexpectedly. The problem occurs when software uses the audio codec. Microsoft acknowledges the bug and is working on a fix, but has not announced when it will be available. Until then, applications may be affected.
