Phishing gang leader, 22, steals €103,000 and parties with victims' money

A 22-year-old man from West Flanders, I.L., appeared in court in Mechelen on Tuesday as the alleged leader of a phishing gang. Together with five co-defendants, he allegedly stole more than €103,000 from victims and used the money to party. The prosecution described him as callous and lacking remorse. It said he even continued his activities from prison.
