PALeiS community school in Diepenbeek fights to survive

PALeiS community school in the hamlet of Het Crijt in Diepenbeek is fighting to stay open as pupil numbers decline. The school needs at least 12 preschoolers to continue operating, but that also creates significant financial pressure. Director Barbara Lenaers warns that subsidies received in 2006 may have to be repaid if the school closes.
