Belgian soldier dies during exercise in Pyrenees, says minister Francken

A Belgian soldier died on Saturday during an exercise in the Pyrenees, the mountain range on the border between Spain and France. Defence Minister Theo Francken announced the death. The victim was an experienced paracommando from Schaffen, a district of Diest in Flemish Brabant, and died during military training.
