SBI resolves ST-status hurdle for Arunachal Christians

State Bank of India has corrected a software problem that prevented Christian applicants in Arunachal Pradesh from selecting Scheduled Tribe status in application forms. The Arunachal Christian Forum welcomed the fix, saying it removes an administrative hurdle for people seeking to use the ST category. Applicants can now select the category when completing relevant SBI forms.
