Over 16% of Japanese companies experience data breaches

A survey found that more than 16% of Japanese companies experienced, or potentially experienced, data breaches. The rate was substantially higher among large businesses, reaching 30.2%, compared with 14.3% among small firms. The findings indicate that larger companies faced more than double the reported breach exposure of smaller businesses.
