Karnataka HC refuses to drop culpable homicide charge against father

The Karnataka High Court has refused to quash a charge of culpable homicide not amounting to murder against Nadeem, a Mysuru resident. The case concerns a fatal road accident allegedly caused by his minor son. Justice M. Nagaprasanna dismissed Nadeem’s criminal petition seeking cancellation of the charge sheet, leaving the prosecution in place.
