Haryana power staff call 3-day strike against giving licence to private discom

Haryana power employees have called a three-day strike over the regulator’s decision to license Eleven Power for 25 years to distribute electricity in Gurugram and Nuh. The Haryana Electricity Regulatory Commission approved the licence. Power Minister says the state will challenge the move before a tribunal, while staff warn it could weaken the state-owned utility.
