Ghent welfare office to monitor rent-guarantee tenants more closely

Ghent’s public welfare centre will now provide closer guidance to tenants who received a rent guarantee through the service. Three months after they move, a staff member will contact them to check whether everything is going well. With three additional staff members, the centre aims to address problems more quickly and prevent tenants from being evicted.
