Another delay for Heverlee cycle bridge works due to strong winds

Work on the cycle bridge over the E40 in Heverlee has been delayed by at least a week. The motorway was due to close in both directions near the construction zone, but De Werkvennootschap says the predicted strong winds make the operation too risky. Spokesperson Marijn Struyf confirmed that the work will therefore take place later.
