Far-right mayor pulls Belgian show “Amazonia”

The creators of the Belgian show “Amazonia” announced Wednesday that they would file an administrative appeal against the decision by the mayor of Vierzon, in central France. The far-right mayor removed the play from the schedule of the municipal Mac-Nab Theatre. The creators have petitioned the administration to challenge the theatre’s decision to drop the show.
