Boortmeerbeek recycling centre to close until autumn 2027 for renovation

Boortmeerbeek’s recycling centre will close after 31 December 2026 for renovation. EcoWerf plans to reopen it in autumn 2027 as a Diftar weight-based centre, where waste is charged by weight. During the closure, residents can use 15 other Diftar weight-based centres in nearby municipalities until the renovated centre is fully operational again.
