Landmark E17 motorway stop must close to make way for new service stations

The E17 Snack restaurant on Belgium’s E17 motorway, between Antwerp and Ghent, is set to disappear under plans to redevelop the roadside site. The project will create new service stations aimed at travellers and lorry drivers. The existing landmark stop will therefore close as the area is transformed to provide updated facilities along the route.
