Mechelen unveils plans for green banks and new streets along Binnendijle

Mechelen and De Vlaamse Waterweg have presented plans to redevelop the Binnendijle. Between the Winketbrug and Kraanbrug, there will be more greenery, nature and space for water, alongside new streets along both banks. Residents of ’t Veer and the areas around Tichelrij and Dijle received an explanation; the works will be carried out in three phases over several years.
