Timothy Persoons, 42, is Aalst's new carnival prince: “An amazing feeling!”

In Aalst, 42-year-old Timothy Persoons has been elected the city’s 73rd carnival prince. He takes the scepter from his predecessor, Prince Joshy, becoming the new face of carnival in the city. Persoons calls his election an amazing feeling. As prince, he will represent the Onion City during Aalst’s carnival celebrations.
