Tenant hits back after landlord withholds deposit

A rental dispute over a property in Genk came before the justice of the peace on Tuesday morning. The Limburg landlord is withholding the rental deposit over, among other things, a defective gate, damaged doors and a poorly maintained garden. The former tenant disputes this, saying the property already had many defects, so he does not want to be held responsible for all the damage.
