Broadcast unions urge VRT to follow Dutch example and withdraw from Eurovision

Trade unions at Flemish public broadcaster VRT are urging management to withdraw from next year’s Eurovision Song Contest, rather than wait for industrial action. The socialist and Christian unions want VRT to follow the Netherlands’ decision not to enter the competition. The contest will still be broadcast.
