New parking rules planned for Kapermolen pool in Hasselt

The underground car park at Kapermolen swimming pool in Hasselt is often full during the day, making it difficult for swimmers to find a space. Vlaams Belang councillor Toon Vranken raised the parking pressure with Mobility Alderman Kevin Schouterden (Vooruit). The city is examining a system that would link free parking directly to a swimming ticket. Hasselt wants to prevent misuse by students and city-centre visitors.
