Head of Poland’s Constitutional Court suspended

Polish police deployed around the Constitutional Court in Warsaw after its head was suspended. Riot police blocked access to the building. The case is part of a power struggle between PiS, which appointed the head, and Donald Tusk’s current centrist government. President Karol Nawrocki then announced his urgent return to Warsaw.
