US to sell 500 Patriot missiles to Ukraine

The United States is selling 500 Patriot air-defense missiles to Ukraine. Kyiv’s allies are paying nearly €2 billion for them. The deal is part of international military support for Ukraine during its war with Russia. The funding therefore does not come directly from the Ukrainian government.
