A quarter of Belgians always work, even when sick

More than a quarter of Belgian employees say they always go to work, even when they are sick. This is according to Mensura’s biennial absenteeism survey of more than 1,000 employees in Belgium. The wellbeing and prevention service warns about presenteeism: employees remain active due to internal or external pressure, even when illness limits their ability to work.
