Halle uses watering bags to protect young trees

Halle is using watering bags to gradually water young trees during hot periods. The city planted 136 trees this year, but 30 did not survive the hot summer. According to Halle, climate change is making green-space maintenance more difficult every year. The measure is intended to better protect new plantings in Halle from drought and heat.
