Baarle-Nassau donkey sanctuary deploys guard dogs Capone and Diva

The Ezelhoeve donkey sanctuary in Baarle-Nassau is deploying two livestock guardian dogs to protect its 55 donkeys from wolves. Capone and Diva will mainly prevent wolves from entering the grounds at night. The sanctuary is taking this step because, in its view, wolves are appearing increasingly often in the border region with Belgium’s Noorderkempen, where the dogs will carry out their deterrent role.
